Ces derniers jours, nous avons assisté, sidérés, au renversement du long règne de Bachar el-Assad en Syrie, une sorte de dynastie désormais déchue. On peut espérer que cette longue et terrible guerre touche enfin à sa fin. L'effondrement soudain du gouvernement syrien, qui semblait pourtant déterminé à restaurer son unité et à mettre un terme à la guerre civile, ne s'explique que par la désintégration d'une organisation en réseau plus vaste et la rupture des maillons de cette chaîne.
